Access Settings from the sidebar. This page covers every setting in the app.

Appearance

Theme

Choose between System, Light, and Dark mode. System follows your macOS appearance preference.

Default: Dark

DaVinci Resolve

Test Connection

Click to check if DaVinci Resolve Studio is running and responsive. Shows the current project name on success.

Transfer Tags as Keywords

When enabled, tags are sent as comma-separated keywords when sending clips to Resolve's Media Pool.

Default: Enabled

Database Backup

Create Backup

Create a snapshot of your current database. Optionally add a description to identify it later.

Backup List

View, restore, or delete existing backups. Each entry shows the timestamp, description, and file size.

App Updates

Check for Updates

Manually check for a new version of Clipthesis. If an update is available, buttons appear to download and then restart to install.
